It’s that time of the year again – Dreamforce is around the corner and I’m preparing for my annual trip to San Francisco! I had a memorable Dreamforce 2018 and this year, it is shaping up to be another exciting event.
I am presenting as many as 3 sessions this year and helping out at a bunch of others. It’s been a lot of work over the last few weeks but it’s been all worth considering Dreamforce is a stage that has given me a lot of love over the last 8 years!
Dreamforce 2019 is a big change for me as for the last 7 years, I’ve attended Dreamforce with the company that’s now my ex-employer . I am excited that this is my first (hopefully the first of many) Dreamforce as the Chief Technology Officer a MTX Group! I’m excited that we’re bringing some of the best minds from our leadership to San Francisco for this event.
And here are the sessions I’m presenting this year!
This session is on Tuesday 19th November at 9 AM in Room 2007 at Moscone West. It’s a coincidence that Marc’s keynote is at 10 AM so you’ve a great chance to kickoff your Dreamforce with me before you meet the Big-B.
On a more serious note, I’m very excited about this session for 2 reasons
A) This is the first time that Salesforce has introduced the Architect track at Dreamforce and I’m elated to be have been chosen to be present on this track.
B) More importantly, this is a topic which is somewhat a best-kept secret by Salesforce on B2C Commerce. I’m fortunate to be joined by 2 amazing speakers from Salesforce B2C Commerce team as we discuss insights about building scalable B2C Commerce sites on the Salesforce platform.
If you’ve heard of Salesforce & Trailhead, you’ve probably heard of the amazing ‘Ranger Megan’ #RangerMegan
It is my honour to join her for this session as we walk you through a journey of learning with Trailhead. The session is at 4:50 PM at Trailhead Peak Theater at Moscone West and it will be a perfect way to end the Day 1 of your Dreamforce adventure with some inspiration!
3. Building Salesforce Platform Mobile Extensions with Swift
Salesforce mobile development has been my forte for several years and I shall always be thankful to the community for giving me my identity as the ‘Salesforce Mobile Guy’. I’ve presented this session at Dreamforce a couple of years back and I look forward to delivering an updated version again this year. This session is on Thursday 2 PM at the Developer Theater.
4. Circles of Success – Einstein Platform Adoption
I’ve been a big proponent of Circles of Success and I hosted one last year as well. As an Einstein Champion, I look forward to driving a meaningful and insightful engagement with my peers!
5. Circles of Success – App Development with SalesforceDX
If you’re curious to know more about SalesforceDX, start off your Wednesday with me in this Circles of Success. I co-delivered the SalesforceDX bootcamp at TDX19 and was also a panelist in another ExtraCurricular session themed at using SalesforceDX at scale so this is one space I know reasonably well.
Additionally, I’ll also be volunteering at the Einstein Station and Mini Hacks!
Of course, it’s a great time to meet our customers, partners and prospects and we look forward to hosting them!
I’ll try to sneak into some keynotes and MVP events as and when time permits. I’m not much of a party animal but I do look forward to spending some quality time with my friends from within the developer community, fellow MVPs and speakers.
Can’t wait to meet everybody in a couple of weeks!
