2016: My Salesforce Year In Review!

Although I’d like to believe that I’ve become a lot more organised and disciplined in terms of time management over the last couple of years, I’ve no qualms in admitting that there are still occasions where time often moves too fast for me to be able to catch up. Over the holiday break last week, I sat down to reflect on how year 2016 went by and I could literally re-live most of the special moments through the year, as it was yesterday. Of course, it’s a sort of an annual tradition for me and I wrote about my annual review last year as well.

Overall, it was a satisfying and fulfilling year 2016 for me. So, here’s a recap of what kept me excited and busy through out the year.

ng-Conf 2015 Keynote & Videos

Ing-confgt came, it saw, it is conquering – I believe this tag line is most appropriate for ng-conf – the community conference for AngularJS lovers. The onsite event is a wrap and to say that it’s been a resounding success would be an understatement. I followed it closely via the Internet and thoroughly enjoyed most of the sessions.

And now it’s over to ng-conf Extended editions, to bring the ng-conf goodness to several locations all over the world.

Jaipur Hackathon Team Calling all AngularJS Lovers – ng-conf Extended Jaipur Edition is here!


I still remember the time I heard the word ‘DOM’ more than nearly two decades back and to be honest, it’s still one of the most dreaded words in my dictionary. The good thing though is JavaScript as a language has matured significantly – I wish I could say the same about me maturing with age.

I personally think it’s frameworks such as Angular.js (and many similar frameworks) which have actually made JavaScript one of the most popular programming languages globally. Therefore, it’s no surprise that ng-conf, a community conference on Angular.js that started last year is one of the most sought after events this year.
