If you are a developer or an administrator involved with ExactTarget platform, this is one event which you should attend. Packed with an envious line up of star speakers, the CONNECTIONS|2014 offers an unparalleled opportunity to learn and interact with the experts from the ExactTarget community.
It does not matter if you are a noob or an expert on the ExactTarget platform, the conference agenda has lots of sessions to interest everyone. Apart from the crowd-puller keynote from the charismatic Marc Benioff, the CMO summit is likely to get a lot of visitors. Of course, being a mobile developer, I would have chosen to attend the mobile track which offers a number of interesting sessions.
For what it’s worth, I was thrilled about having been invited to present a session for this conference but unfortunately I had to turn it down as the dates are are not suitable for international travellers, especially if you are planning to attend Dreamforce 2014 as well.
If you are travelling from outside the United States, the dates just don’t work out well – CONNECTIONS|2014 being scheduled from 23-25 September while Dreamforce 2014 happening during 13-16 October 2014. It would have been ideal to either schedule the two events back to back or spread them apart further by at least a quarter. While the former case is more enticing, I think it’s logistically impractical for Salesforce to manage two events of such magnitude in such a short span of time.
Anyway, I felt humbled and honoured that my session was chosen.
I’ve been a long time admirer of Scott McCorkle so I’ll rue this opportunity to see him in action. Likewise, I’m a fan of the work that John Green has produced so it would have been nice to listen to him at CONNECTIONS|2014.
If you are in around Indianapolis from 23rd-25th September, grab your spot for the CONNECTIONS|2014 event before time runs out. And the best part – did I mention it’s FREE!
